The Veteran actor, Rahul Roy is ‘Speechless’ after Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor recently confessed that he was her first crush and not Saif Ali Khan.
Kareena, on the sets of her dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance’ said, “My first crush was the hero of one my favourite films. I actually went to the theatre eight times to watch the film because of him and the songs of the film. This film’s song had become a rage and I am a little nervous to say this after so long – my first crush was Rahul Roy. Everyone was in love with him during his film Aashiqui.”

Sharing a screenshot of an article in which Kareena was quoted calling him her first crush, the actor on Thursday (August 29) responded on twitter saying, “I’m speechless,” with raised hands emojis.
Reacting to his post, several fans commented that he was their first crush as well.
“This was one of my revelations to my friends last year while playing truth and dare. uff ur hair!!! That hair cut still makes me go weak on my knees. u were my first crush too Rahul Roy!!!” wrote one fan.
“Ur my fav hero. We also love u sir,” wrote another.
Rahul Roy made his Bollywood debut with Aashiqui and went on to deliver notable performances in Mahesh Bhatt’s 1993 autobiographical Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee, Junoon, Sapne Sajan Ke and Naseeb. He has also featured in several television shows such as Karishma – The Miracles of Destiny and Kaise Kahoon.
In 2006, Rahul Roy won the first season of reality show Big Boss.
He has also ventured into filmmaking and started his production company ‘Rahul Roy Productions’. He was honoured with the life membership of the International Film and Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television.
Meanwhile, Kareena on the work front will be next seen in Good News, also starring Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh in pivotal roles. The film is slated to hit the screens on December 27.
