Madhuri Dixit said she was shocked to read the names of Alok Nath and Soumik Sen in the Me Too allegations. It was unacceptable for the star to digest such news about the people whom she has worked with.
Apart from Alok Nath and Soumik Sen other bollywood personalities like Nana Pathekar, Rajkumar Hirani, Subhash Ghai, Rajat Kapoor, and Sajid Khan were also called out for sexual misconduct and inappropriate behaviour.
In a recent interview to PTI, Madhuri Dixit expressed her reaction over seeing names like Alok Nath and Soumik Sen in #Me Too allegations row.
She has worked with Alok Nath in the films like ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Jamai Raja’. She has been directed by Soumik Sen in Gulaab Gang. Alok Nath has been accused of rape by writer-director Vinta Nanda.
Madhuri said, “It is always shocking. Because you’ve known them and you’ve not known them like that. It is always shocking when something like that comes out. What you’ve known them and what you’re reading is two different people. It was so shocking.”
