Bollywood diva Kareena kapoor has denied the media reports claiming that the star may contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections on Congress ticket.
Thrashing the media reports, Kareena said that her only focus has been and will be movies.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Kareena Kapoor has been quoted as saying “There is no truth to these reports. I have not been approached for this whatsoever. My focus is and only will be movies.”

Guddu Chauhan and Anees Khan said that since Kareena Kapoor has a great fan-following among the youngsters, they will vote for her.
They also added that being a daughter-in-law of Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi will work in Kareena’s favour. Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, father of actor Saif Ali Khan was born in Bhopal. His grandfather was the last ruling Nawab of Bhopal.
While BJP criticized Congress over the issue and said “Congress ke paas neta nahi bache isliye abhineta ke sahare chunaav ladna chah rahe hain (Congress does not have a strong candidate, so it is now trying to field an actor),” said Alok Sanjar, current MP of Bhopal.
