The Rafale deal sealed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government is 2.8 per cent cheaper than the one negotiated by the previous Congress-led UPA government, says the CAG (Comptroller and Auditor General) which was presented in Rajya Sabha today.
Anti-BJP party is not ready to accept the truth revealed by the CAG report and have called it biased. Meanwhile, Congress President Rahul Gandhi has called CAG (Chowkidar Auditor General) report.
APN in its popular show Mudda has chosen this issue for discussion with Anchorperson Akshay Singh along with BJP leader Vijendra Pratap Solanki, Senior Journalist Tapan Bharti, Congress spokesperson Onkar Nath Singh, APN consultant Govindpant Raju and NCP spokesperson Ashok Dhatrak.
Onkar Nath Singh was the first to speak and said “If CAG report says that the Rafale deal by Modi govt was cheaper than UPA govt then why aren’t they revealing the price?”
He also added that “The BJP govt is lying in connection with the Rafale deal that is the reason they are not revealing the price and are using investigating agencies according to their will.”
Vijendra Pratap said “Congress party and BJP-anti parties are not ready to accept the truth and are raising questions over CAG report, not ready to listen Supreme Court’s decision. The grand old party wants us to bring new agencies or what? “
Tapan Bharti said “The ongoing controversy on Rafale deal is not at all good for the defense system of the nation as in future the government will be fearful in taking any initiative for the betterment of the defense system in the country.”
Raju said “Congress party is not willing to accept the report submitted by CAG but willing to create controversy on the basis of a media report can be termed as a political stunt by the grand old party.”
Onkar Nath said “Why the CAG report not revealed the price in Lok Sabha? Are persons sitting inside Lok Sabha is anti nationalists?”
Vijendra Pratap said “We need not present any details related to Rafale deal in front of any political parties we have submitted the details to the Supreme Court.”
Ashok Dhatrak said “If BJP is that much honest then why the government is opposing the demand of JPC committee. “
He also added that “BJP govt has not presented the full list of papers in front of Supreme Court and even the CAG report tells the partial truth.”
Govind Pant Raju said “There are so many investigating agencies that look after the high profile deals and it is not that easy to fool all these agencies, but the anti-BJP parties are not ready to listen any kind of facts and reports presented by such agencies and are raising the issue for their political benefit.”
In an overall discussion it has come to our knowledge that the anti-BJP parties are not ready to accept the report submitted by CBI to Rajya Sabha and are demanding for the Joint parliamentary Committee to investigate in to the Rafale deal.
