Ducati has allotted 20 units for India, where the first two customers will get access to the Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course.
Ducati has launched the Panigale V4 and V4 S motorcycles at an introductory price of Rs 20.53 lakh and Rs 25.29 (ex-showroom, India), with deliveries to start in July 2018.
Ducati has allotted 20 units for India, where the first two customers will get access to the Ducati Riding Experience racetrack course that will be held in June 2018 in Malaysia at the Sepang MotoGP circuit.
“Our first announcement in India this year, the Panigale V4 is one of the most eagerly awaited motorcycles in India in 2018. This is the closest enthusiasts can get to owning a MotoGP prototype that is built for both excellent on-track performance and outstanding on-road ridability,” said Sergi Canovas, managing director of Ducati India.
“We have been overwhelmed with enquiries since the announcement at EICMA and as a result have opened bookings six months before the motorcycle even arrives in India,” he added.
The Panigale V4 is the first production Ducati motorcycle to be equipped with a four-cylinder engine derived from the MotoGP Desmosedici.
This Desmosedici Stradale engine is a 1,103cc, 90 degree V4 producing 214hp at 13,000rpm and 124Nm at 10,000rpm.
The electronics package on the Panigale V4 S includes ABS Cornering Bosch EVO, Ducati Traction Control EVO, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control, Ducati Power Launch, Ducati Quick shift up and down, Engine Brake Control EVO and Ducati Electronic Suspension EVO.
Developed on the track with both official Ducati riders and test riders, the vehicle dynamics controls of Panigale V4 S are incorporated in three new riding modes – race, sport, street. Furthermore, the controls can be adjusted through the advanced TFT panel – which makes the new Ducati vehicles the highest-tech bike in the category.
