Mild tremors were felt in Delhi and its neighbouring areas after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake struck north-west of Lahore on Tuesday, September 24 at around 4:35 pm.

Tremors were felt in Delhi-NCR area, Chandigarh, Kashmir, and parts of Himachal as well as several towns in Pakistan, including Islamabad, Lahore and Khyber Pakhtun region, according to reports.
Jammu and Kashmir DG Dilbagh Singh told India Today TV that “so far there have been no reports of damage in any part of Jammu and Kashmir.” There are no reports of any loss of life or property from any other place as well.
