Honor 9x, which was released in China last year, made its debut in the Indian market today (14th January).
The phone sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ bezel-less display with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels.
The screen is void of any notches and can be utilised fully without any distractions as it uses the pop-up mechanism for the front-facing camera which has 16 MP lens.
The base model of the phone comes with 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage will be available on Flipkart from January 20 onwards and carries a price tag of Rs 13,999. The 6GB/128GB would cost Rs 16,999.
The smartphone runs Android 9 Pie with the custom EMUI 9.1 skin on top. It is powered by Huawei’s own HiSilicon Kirin 810F SoC.
Honor 9X has a triple rear-camera set-up with a primary lens of 48-megapixel, a 120-degree field of view wide angle 8 MP lens and 2 MP depth sensor.
It is packed with a 5000 mAh battery and comes with a Type-C 10W charger.
The new device has a fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock via the pop-up selfie camera.
At the same event, it also launched Honor Magic Watch 2 whose 46 mm model which is priced at Rs 12,999 for the Charcoal Black colour watch, while the Flax Brown colour option will be available at Rs 14,999.
The 42mm variant of the Honor Magic Watch 2 is priced at Rs. 11,999 for the Agate Black colour, while the Sakura Gold version will cost Rs 14,999.
After the success of Honor Band 5, Honor today launched the band 5i and it will be priced at Rs 1,999. The fitness band will have nine sports modes and comes with an optical heart rate sensor.
