The technology world is moving towards 5G and India is all set to get its first 5G smartphone as Chinese phonemaker Realme has revealed that Realme X50 Pro 5G will launch in India on February 24.
Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme took to Twitter to share the launch data and timings.
The company had earlier planned to launch the phone globally at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, but the event was cancelled due to coronavirus fears.
The launch event will now be hosted online and live streamed for enthusiasts across the world.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G phone is teased to be ‘India’s first 5G smartphone’ while iQoo 3 5G which is also claiming the same but will be unveiled on February 25.
Realme X50 Pro 5G will be launched in New Delhi, and the event live stream will begin at 2.30pm.
The phone is expected to feature dual front-facing camera and will have a 90 Hz Super AMOLED display.
The Realme X50 Pro 5G will have a super fast 65W wired charging and will be powered by Snapdragon 865 processor.
