Aryan Khan bail hearing: Shah Rukh Khan’s son, five others shifted to common cell from quarantine barrack in Arthur Rd Jail

Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s elder son Aryan Khan, who is currently lodged in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail in connection with a cruise drug case, has been shifted to a common cell from quarantine barrack after being tested negative for Covid on Thursday. As per the government’s Covid guidelines, the Mumbai police have kept Aryan with 5 others in a quarantine cell.

After the court rejected the bail plea of Aryan Khan in cruise drug case, 23 year old was sent to Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail on October 8 after being placed under judicial custody. Meanwhile, a special court in Mumbai will be hearing Aaryan’s bail plea today.

According to the NCB, Aryan Khan was present at the cruise party and consumed drugs. However his lawyer Amit Desai said, the NCB official have raided the cruise when Shah Rukh Khan had not even checked into the cruise party. Desai said NCB has not found any drug-related material from Aaryan.

The anti-drugs agency said, Aaryan khan’s WhatsApp chats have revealed that he was in constant touch with a foreign national that deals in drugs.

The NCB has shared any information about the recovery of the drugs from Aaryan’s possession. The agency said one of his friends Arbaaz Merchant was caught with 5 grams of charas that he has hide in his shoes, which comes under the NDPS Act with a maximum of one year of rigorous imprisonment or a fine up to Rs 10,000 or both.

Meanwhile, Aryan’s parents Gauri Khan and Shah Rukh Khan did not comment anything regarding the arrest of their son so far. Many Bollywood celebrities such as Farah Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Raveena Tondon, Sussane Khan with many other extends their support of Aaryan Khan.
