Ravichandran Ashwin shares hilarious picture that says a lot, see photo

Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin shared a hilarious picture after India defeated New Zealand in the 2nd Test by 372 runs to win the match and series.

After the post-match presentation, Ashwin took his Instagram story to share a hilarious picture of Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja of India ad New Zealand. To those who do not know, there are two Indian born players in New Zealand team, named Ajaz Patel and Rachin Ravindra.

And Indian off-spinner did not miss the opportunity to capture a historical picture of Patels and Ravidras of both teams. Ashwin made them lined up in a way that it read ‘Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja’ on their jerseys. In the photo, it can be seen Axar Patel standing on the left with Ajaz Patel by his side on the left-middle, while Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja is standing on the right with New Zealand’s Rachin Ravindra on his right middle. The combination of these four players’ jersey names read ‘Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja’.

Who is Ajaz Patel?

Maharashtra born Ajaz Patel is an off-spinner who plays for New Zealand side and achieved a remarkable record of taking all 10 wickets in a Test innings. Ajaz Patel’s bowling figure in 1st innings were 47.5-119-10. He also managed to pick 4 wickets in 2nd innings, taking 14 wickets in the match.

Who is Rachin Ravindra?

Rachin Ravindra who plays for New Zealand cricket team was born in New Zealand but his parents were from India and later shifted to New Zealand. Rachin was named after the legendary batting duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid, his father was huge of both cricketers so he decided to name him by taking the initial two words of Rahul and Sachin and named his son Rachin.

New Zealand lost the 2nd Test match and series in Mumbai.
