Ayushmann Khurrana looks goofy in his first look from Doctor G

Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film shooting began in Bhopal on July 14.

The first look of Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Doctor G dropped on Monday in which the actor looks goofy as a doctor.

In the first look poster, Khurrana can be seen wearing a lab coat with a pair of specs, holding a gynaecology book in his hand and a stethoscope in his coat’s pocket. The 36-year-old actor looks perfect as a doctor who is named Dr Uday Gupta in the film.

Sharing his first look from the film, the actor wrote in Hindi, “Doctor G taiyyar ho kar nikle hain. Ab hogi shooting! (Doctor G has got all ready for shooting) #DoctorGFirstLook.” 

Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, the film shooting began in Bhopal on July 14. Ayushmann is currently in Bhopal to shoot his part while actor Rakul Preet Singh, who also stars in the film and still to join the team. She had earlier commented on his post saying that she can’t wait to hit the sets. 

For the first time, Ayushmann will be playing the role of doctor for which he feels honoured. He said he was truly excited to start shooting the film, also because it was going to allow him to relive memories of him being a student and living the hostel life. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my director Anubhuti, he added.

Apart from Ayushmann and Rakul, Doctor G also stars Shefali Shah and Sheeba Chadha. Rakul and Shefali are also playing doctors in the film. The film is produced by Junglee Pictures and marks the third collaboration with Ayushmann after Bareilly Ki Barfi and Badhaai Ho.
