West Bengal BJP leader Raju Banerjee attacked the Bengal government, saying the police force in the state does take action against Gunda Raj and if the saffron party comes to power, the party will make the police lick boots.
Raju Banerjee was speaking at an event in Durgapur on Tuesday, he said see what is happening in West Bengal nowadays, will Gunda Raj prevail in the state? Police are not extending any help. What should be done with such police personnel? We will make them lick boots.
Ahead of the 2021 Bengal elections, BJP leaders have been critical of alleged lawlessness in Bengal under the Mamata Banerjee government. BJP national general secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya on Tuesday claimed that security for women is the worst in the state under the TMC.
The BJP’s Bengal in-charge, Vijayvargiya has said that one set of laws is applicable in the whole country barring here, where only TMC’s rules prevail.
Despite being a woman chief minister in the state, women safety and security in Bengal are the worst in comparison to other states. The law and order situation has completely broken down in the state, he added.
