Hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared a photo from flight on his way to the US, the Congress posted photos of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to a counter the BJP and its leaders who have been sharing PM Modi’s photo since last night.
Sharing images of the former PM addressing the media in-flight, the Congress tweeted that some photographs are harder to copy.
Few minutes after Congress tweeted Singh’s photo of holding press conference in flight, the tweeple were asking the party whether the Congress used to take so many journalists on former prime minister’s foreign tours on taxpayers’ money.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a three-day visit to the United States of America. On his way to US, PM Modi shared a picture of himself in which he is seen working inside the flight.
Sharing the photograph on Twitter, PM Modi wrote: A long flight also means opportunities to go through papers and some file work.
As soon as PM Modi shared a picture of him reading in the flight, Twitter was flooded with memes and trolls as tweeples noted as to why PM Modi uses a light beneath the paper and drew several comparisons. A section of Twitter was involved in trolling the PM, while other was busy defending him.
The Congress comes back with the photos of former Prime Ministers like Lal Bahadur Shastri and PV Narasimha Rao tackling files on their flights.
However, even before PM Modi, the Prime Ministers – Lal Bahadur Shastri, PV Narasimha Rao, Rajiv Gandhi, Atal Vihari Bajpayee and Indira Gandhi, have been seen working in the flight.
PM Modi’s yesterday’s post showed him going through files on his flight to Washington, where he has a packed three-day schedule, including a Quad meeting and an address to the UN General Assembly.
