IPL 2021 Qualifier 2: Delhi Capitals and Kolkata Knight iders to clash for a place in final

In Qulaifier-2 of IPL 2021, Delhi Capitals will be taking on Kolkata Knight Riders, winner will get a chance to play against Chennai Super Kings in the final. KKR beat RCB in eliminator to make to the Qualifiers, whereas DC is coming from a defeat against MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings. Both teams will be looking play their best game to set their date with the IPL 2021 first finalists CSK.

Delhi Capitals

Rishabh Pant-led Delhi Capitals have probably played the best cricket in the tournament. The only thing this team lacks, is the consistency in their lower order batting. With Marcus Stoinis injured, team is dependent on the likes of Axar Patel and Ravi Ashwin. Top order batting of Prithvi Shaw, Shikhar Dhawan and Shreyash Iyer, DC looks strong. In bowling line-ups, Rabada, Nortje and Avesh Khan can destroy any bating line-up.

Kolkata knight Riders

Kolkata Knight Riders led by English captain Eoin Morgan, have been immensely good in the UAE leg of IPLK 2021, compared to their India leg. KKR have won 6 of the 8 matches they have played in this leg, including their previous victory against RCB in the eliminator. One of the main reason behind KKR’s success in their quality spin-attack of veteran Sunil Narine and young Varun Chakravarthy. The only concern KKR have, is the injury of destructive all-rounder Andre Russell.

Predicted XI DC: Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw, Rishabh Pant (w/c), Shreyas Iyer, Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh Khan, Anrich Nortje

Predicted XI KKR: Shubman Gill, Venkatesh Iyer, Rahul Tripathi, Nitish Rana, Eoin Morgan (c), Shakib Al Hasan, Dinesh Karthik (w), Sunil Narine, Shivam Mavi, Lockie Ferguson, Varun Chakaravarthy
