APN spreads the lesson
Following Yogi Adityanath foot prints, Delhi’s Aam Aadmi Party government has also cancelled holidays celebrating the birth and death anniversaries of the eminent personalities. Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that ‘UP Government has made a good start and we should always be ready to learn from such examples.’ He has also said that necessary instructions were sent to Chief Secretary.
APN carried a package during one of its landmark show called ‘Office Office’ on April 29. The report said that from now on Delhi government employees will have to sacrifice five holidays every year. U.P. government has, however, cancelled 15 public holidays marking the birth or death anniversaries including Milad un-Nabi, Chhat and Valmiki Jayanti.
Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia further said that Delhi government’s initiatives to end VIP culture by removing red beacons on vehicles and establishing of Mohalla Clinics were being replicated in other states. We should also learn good decisions from others, he said.
UP government has cancelled the holidays on such occasions and instead instructed to organize two hour session in the institutions and organizations for introducing the eminent personalities and their teachings on their birth and death anniversaries.
The report was received well by viewers. The report about Delhi government’s decision to replicate Yogi’s positive step was considered to be a healthy trend in the country’s politics.
