Delhi unlock: What’s allowed and what’s not, scroll down to read

Delhi is witnessing a massive drop in Covid-19 cases, due to which the Department Of Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Sunday has decided to give further ease on coronavirus lockdown restrictions in the city.

The authority has permitted public parks, restaurants, bars and gardens to reopen while increasing their operational timings from Monday. The relaxations in Covid-19 restrictions have been extended till 5 am on June 28.

What’s allowed as per new rule?

  • Restaurants and Bars are permitted to reopen with 50 percent capacity from 8 am to 10 pm.
  • The government has allowed gardens, public parks to be reopened with full focus on Covid-19 protocols.
  • Malls, Markets and local shops are allowed from 10 am to 8 pm.
  • Marriages are allowed at court or at home with a maximum gathering of 20 persons.
  • Private and government offices are functional with 50 percent staff. The government has asked people wear masks and maintain social distancing in the office premises
  • Public transport and Delhi Metro are allowed with 50 percent capacity.

What’s not allowed?

  • Gyms, Cinemas halls, and spas will remain closed till further orders.
  • Colleges, Schools and educational institutions will remain closed till June 28.
  • Stadiums, swimming pools and sports complexes will remain closed till further order. however, sportspeople who are participating at the national and international level can use the facilities.
  • Religious gatherings, political rallies are not allowed in the city till further order.

The Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) said that the city witnessing a drop in positivity rate, but people need to be careful while stepping out. Covid norms need to be followed to prevent another outbreak.
