Eid-al-Adha 2021: Amitabh Bachchan, Madhuri Dixit, Mohanlal others wish fans

South superstar Chiranjeevi in his Eid post wrote that Bakreed is a symbol of compassion, love, and sacrifice.

On the occasion of Eid-al-Adha, Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Madhuri Dixit, among others took to social media and wished their fans in the festivities. 

BigB took to Twitter and wrote, “T3974-Eid ul Adha Mubarak!!”, while Madhuri Dixit wrote, “May the divine blessings of Allah bring you hope, trust, and happiness. Happy Eid ul Adha.”

On the other hand, Raveena Tandon shared a picture of herself, wearing a beautiful attire, and wished her fans on the occasion. Similarly, Huma Khureshi also posted a beautiful picture of herself in a traditional outfit on Instagram in which she looks gorgeous. she captioned it as, “Eid Mubarak. Peace, joy, light, and Kababs. I pray for the whole world.”

South superstar Chiranjeevi in his Eid post wrote that Bakreed is a symbol of compassion, love, and sacrifice. On the occasion of the holy Bakrid, he wishes all the best to the Muslim brothers and sisters. May Allah’s blessings be upon everyone, he said. While Mohanlal shared a beautiful photo and greeted his fans on the occasion.

South actor Ravi Teja has also prolonged Eid greetings to his fans. He wrote, “Pray that all of you may have love, peace, and prosperity. Eid Mubarak.”

Eid-al-Adha marks the end of the Haj pilgrimage to Mecca, and is celebrated by Muslims to honour and commemorate Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ishmael as an act of allegiance to God.

On this day, Muslims offer Eid-ul-Adha namaz at a mosque after the sun has completely risen and just before it enters the Zuhr time (midday prayer time). Followed by a sermon or khutbah, by the Imam, the celebrations follow later which include eating delicious food, giving charity to the poor and sharing the joy with family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
