Spanish giants FC Barcelona have not been the same since the departure of club icon Lionel Messi to PSG. The ongoing crisis at Barcelona is getting worse by each passing day, Barca didn’t get a win in their third match in a row. Earlier, Bayern Munich thrashed them in a Champions League game 3-0 at Camp Nou.
In their 5th match of La Liga, Barca were held by a mid-table team Cadiz in a goalless draw. The club’s manager Ronald Koeman was sent off during the match for dissent in the final minutes of the game and has been given a touchline ban for two matches. Of which Koeman complained that, In this country you get sent off for nothing.
Barca looked clueless during the entire match, their best player on the pitch was Frenkie de-Jong, who was sent off in 65th minute of the game after receiving his second yellow card in the game.
In the first half of the match no team looked for challenging a goal, while in first five minutes of second half both team attempted on goal but goalkeepers saved both the chances. Marc-Andre ter Stegen of Catalan club stopped a clear shot from Alvaro Negredo, while J. Ledesma did a pretty good job to save a powerful shot from Barca’s no. 9 Memphis Depay. After that the game became quite boring, as both team couldn’t score in entire match.
Barcelona is currently 7th in points table, while their arch-rival Real Madrid bossing at the top of table with 16 points in 6 matches. Earlier on Tuesday, Real Madrid beat Mallorca by 6-1.
Meanwhile, In Seria ‘A’ of Italy, Tammy Abraham scored winner for Mourinho’s Roma to win over Udinese. Roma are currently 4th on points table. Abraham scored on a wonderful cross from 19-year-old Riccardo Calafiory. It was Abraham’s third league goal for Roma since joining form Chelsea. Roma are 3 points behind the Serie ‘A’ leaders Napoli.
