India needs to be militarily better prepared than China, says Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday said that India needs to grow its strength in terms of power and scope to be able to take on China. Bhagwat was speaking at the RSS’s Vijaydashmi rally which was held indoors and attended by 50 swayamsevaks in view of coronavirus guidelines.

Mentioning China’s arrogant and expansionist nature, Bhagwat said China was trying to invade India but the Indian soldiers gave them a befitting reply. This have given more confidence to other countries as well who have started to openly criticize China. He also urged the RSS volunteers to always remain alert and prepared. He emphasized that India will have to improve its strategic preparedness, economic power, and international relations to grow bigger than China in terms of power and scope.  

Addressing the nation on the occasion of Vijayadashmi, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat claimed that opportunists orchestrated violence in the country in the name of protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. He said CAA does not oppose any particular religion and those  opposing it are misleading Muslims.

Warning anti-CAA protestors, Bhagwat said the protestors are trying to reignite the conflict that ended due to the coronavirus pandemic. Bhagwat reminded that CAA has come in to existence through a constitutional process and it was lawfully passed by the Parliament. He said that the CAA will not snatch any Indian’s citizenship and was in fact brough in to grant citizenship to  those who face discrimination and persecution in neighbouring countries.

The RSS chief also slammed the anti-national forces within the country and spoke about the anti-China sentiments after the Galwan valley faceoff in which Indian soldiers were martyred. On coronavirus, Bhagwat said that the pandemic has taught people the importance of hygiene, cleanliness, environment, family values all over again.

Criticising opposition on Hathras gangrape incident, Bhagwat said the tukde, tukde gang is trying to divide and weaken the Indian society. He further explained that there are certain powers in the world who are trying to disrupt peace in the country through their agents in India.
