The BJP chief praised the surgical strikes by Indian Army on several terror launch pads in retaliation to the terror attack in Uri.

BJP president Amit Shah on Friday praised the Narendra Modi-led NDA government for achieving in three years what India could not do in 70 years.

During a press conference in Delhi highlighting the achievements of the Centre, Shah said, “In three years, PM Modi changed the way India thinks, changed politics by plucking nepotism, appeasement out. Our slogan for NDA at three is “sath hai vishwas hai ho raha vikas hai”, not even opposition can call us corrupt.”

The BJP chief praised the surgical strikes across Line of Control (LoC) by Indian Army last year on several terror launch pads, in retaliation to the terror attack in Uri Army camp in Jammu and Kashmir. “Indian Army displayed their valour by surgical strikes, and PM Modi showed political will,” he said.

While talking about the recent caste-clashes in Saharanpur and gangrape in Jewar in Uttar Pradesh, Shah added, “Yogi government has tackled everything promptly, whether it was Jewar, Mathura, Saharanpur incidents. They have taken strong steps.”

Taking a dig at the Congress which is demanding a white paper on employment, Shah said that the party would still be in power if they had done it. He also said that it is not possible to give employment to everyone in a country of 125 crore.

The BJP chief also mentioned One Rank One Pension in his address and said, “Demand for one rank one pension fell on deaf ears but we fulfilled that promise giving Rs 8000 crore to jawans.” He added, “Modi government had made India stand out on a global stage.”

On the other hand, the Congress unleashed a fresh attack on the Modi government while predicting a dark future under BJP rule. Senior Congress leader Kamal Nath lashed out at the government saying the hallmark of this dispensation has been “bravado, rhetoric and hyperbole”.
