Inside Neha Kakkar and Rohanpreet Singh’s haldi, mehendi celebrations

Singer and Indian Idol judge Neha Kakkar is all set to tie the knot with fiance Rohanpreet Singh in New Delhi. The pre-wedding festivities have already begun and the pictures from the haldi and mehendi ceremony are doing rounds on social media. A trend of #NehaDaVyah has started to keep the fans updated with the wedding celebrations.

On Saturday, Kakkar posted a series of pictures from her mehendi ceremony. She looked vibrant in a beautiful green traditional lehenga designed by Anita Dongre. Her fiance, on other hand complimented her in a green kurta, which he paired it with black turban.

The glimpses of her applying mehendi was posted by Kakkar’s henna artist on Instagram.

On Friday evening, the bride to-be Neha Kakkar shared beautiful pictures from her haldi ceremony on Instagram. The couple twinned in yellow, while Kakkar chose to wear a yellow saree which she paired with floral handmade jewellery, Singh was spotted wearing yellow kurta and wore a white turban to complete his look.

The photos from the celebration were also shared by the photographer Vishal Punjabi on his Instagram account. The couple posed with their family and close friends including Neha’s sister Tony Kakkar and lyricist Jassi Lohka.

Kakkar is one of the most successful singers in the industry. She became a household name after her appearance as a judge in the singing based reality show Indian Idol. Her wedding with boyfriend Rohanpreet Singh has been one of the most talked about events since then.

Meanwhile, the couples were said to be dating each other for a couple of months before the news of their wedding surfaced. According to reports, the couple will be taking their nuptial vows in the national capital. And a grand reception will be hosted on October 26  in Punjab which will be attended by their close friends from the industry.
