Sun Risers Hyderabad will take on Mumbai Indians in the last league-stage game of the India Premier League on Tuesday. It is a do-or-die game for Warner’s men as they will have to beat Mumbai at any cost to qualify for playoffs. Mumbai, on the other hand, have to nothing to lose and would be looking to play spoilsport in Hyderabad’s party.
Hyderabad are currently placed on fifth position in the points’ table with 12 points. If they win today’s match, they will get 14 points and will qualify for playoffs on the account of having a better run rate than Kolkata Knight Riders. If they fail to get the better of Mumbai, KKR will get to the next stage.
As for Mumbai, they are already on the No. 1 position in the table. They would, however, like to show their dominance and foil SRH’s chances of getting through to the playoffs. Although, Mumbai are a formidable unit, Sun Risers are perfectly capable of beating them. The side has been quite impressive in their last two games and seems to have found the right balance bothe interms of batting and bowling.
