JEE Advanced 2021: Check eligibility and criteria for registration

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur will soon start the registration of JEE Advanced 2021. Link for the registration will be made available at the official website The IIT Kharagpur JEE advanced 2021 registration link will be open for a limited time only and after the deadline any applications will not be accepted. JEE Advance 2021 registration begins today and the last date to apply for JEE Adv 2021 is September 20.

Candidates who want to apply for JEE Advanced 2021 exam, are required to meet the certain criteria set by the JEE Adv 2021 authorities. JEE Advanced has already released the eligibility criteria in JEE Adv 2021 brochure. Candidates who fail to match the any mentioned criteria will be directly disqualified from the admission process.

Eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced 2021 registration:

Candidates who wish to apply for JEE Adv 2021 must check the eligibility criteria

1.  JEE Main 2021 performance: Only top 2,50,000 successful candidates of  JEE Main gets to apply for JEE Adv 2021.

2. Age Barrier: Candidates born on or, after October  1, 1996 will be considered can apply for JEE Adv 2021. Though, there is 5 years relaxation for SC, ST and PWD candidates.

3. Appearance in Class 12th examination: Candidates willing to apply for JEE Adv 2021, must have been appeared for class 12th in either 2020 or, 2021 with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Math.

4. Number of attempts: A candidate can apply for JEE Adv maximum of two times in two consecutive years.

5. Earlier admissions at IITs: Those candidates who have been admitted to IITs earlier, whether or not the candidate accepted a seat at any IIT by reporting at a centre/reporting online through Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) in the past, will not be considered for the JEE Adv 2021. Candidates whose admission in IITs was cancelled for any reasons after joining are also not eligible for JEE Adv 2021.

IIT Kharagpur will conduct a computer-based examination on October 3, while its result will be declared on October 15 at the official website of JEE Adv 2021.
