Reports say the attacker is Ankit Bharadwaj, who claims to be an AAP supporter
Kapil, Mishra, the suspended Aam Aadmi Party leader who is on hunger strike, was slapped by a man said to be an AAP supporter on Wednesday evening. In the footage shown by Times Now, police were seen jostling with a man.
The channel also said that Mishra was attacked twice by the man, who claimed that he is an AAP supporter.
The suspended AAP leader announced that he would stop even drinking water, if anybody harmed the attacker. He said his supporters got hold of the attacker immediately after the assault.
Reports say that the name of the attacker is Ankit Bharadwaj who claims to be an AAP supporter.
When asked about who is behind the attack, the suspended leader said he will not take any names but added a lot of people were angry over the details he has sought. He also refused any security.
Earlier in the day, Kapil Mishra started a hunger strike demanding the party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to make public the details of foreign trips made by top party leaders.
