Actor Karthik Aaryan on Tuesday announced that his upcoming film Dhamaka is soon going to release on Netflix. Helmed by Ram Madhavani, the flick will see Aaryan in the role of a star anchor, Arjun Pathak, who covers the live broadcast of terror attack in Mumbai. Seems like Dhamaka will change the loverboy image of Aaryan. The actor in the teaser is seen losing his nerve and struggling to pull himself together but his colleague, played by Amruta Subbash, forces him to perform his best.
The actor shared the teaser of the film on his Instagram handle captioning it in Hindi Main hoon Arjun Pathak (I am Arjun Pathak), Jo bhi Kahunga Sach Kahunga (Whatever I say shall be the truth). Coming soon, only on Netflix, he added.
The 30-year-old actor said working on Dhamaka was an enriching experience. Working with Ram Madhvani has allowed him to explore and showcase a new facet of his personality. He is thrilled that the film will reach audiences and his fans all around the world on Netflix, Aaryan said in a statement.
Filmmaker Ram Madhvani who is collaborating with the Pyaar ka Punchnama actor for the first time said he wants to work with him again. He has been wanting to collaborate with Kartik Aaryan for some years now. He said he is’m thrilled he wanted to do Dhamaka. Every day Kartik gave his all to the work. His full involvement, his passion, his precise calibration as an actor is something that I hugely respect. It would be great to collaborate with him again because he made my work better, the Aarya maker said.
