Man crushed under car over taking cancellation charge of Rs 300 train ticket in Greater Noida, one arrested

Two men from Uttar Pradesh’s Greater Noida allegedly killed a man, who runs a mobile and train ticket reservation shop over taking cancellation charges of Rs 300 train ticket. According to reports, the incident took place at Ecotech 1 area of Greater Noida after there was a quarrel between the shop owner and the two men.

Police reported that Nakul Singh, a resident of Gharbara village, and his younger brother Arun Singh ran over their Maruti Swift Dzire car over him and crushed him, which eventually led to his death.

According to reports, the brothers booked tickets for Jammu and they asked for the cancellation on Sunday, for which, Nitin deducted Rs 300 cancellation charge.

After this, the brothers started fighting over the issue and allegedly ran their car over him 2-3 times. Nitin was badly injured after this, and he was immediately rushed to the hospital, where he died during the treatment.

Later, Nitin’s father filed a complaint against the two at Ecotech 1 police station.

The additional deputy commissioner of police (ADCP) Greater Noida, Vishal Pandey, said that police registered a case against the two brothers under Section 302 (murder) and Section 34 (act done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of IPC.

Pandey further said that the car that was used in the incident has been seized. He also said that on Tuesday, the police received information about Nakul’s movement in a car on a pushta road in Gharbara village. A police team reached the spot and arrested him.
