Fashion designer Manish Malhotra on Friday has tested Covid-19. He shared the information through his Instagram.
Malhotra said he has tested covid positive on Friday and isolated himself. Malhotra said he will be under home quarantine, taking all the safety protocols under doctors’ advice. Malhotra urged people to stay safe.
Many celebrities as well as fans wished Malhotra a speedy recovery. Actor Bhumi Pednekar, who is also found herself covid positive on on April 5 wished 54-year-old designer a speedy recovery. Actor Sanjay Kapoor and Huma Qureshi commented on Malhotra’s post to get well soon.
Apart from Manish Malhotra, many celebrities like Rohit Saraf, Katrina Kaif, Rahul Roy, Ashutosh Rana and Sumeet Vyas have also tested positive for the covid-19. Recently, Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt also tested positive for Covid-19.
India became the second worst hit counntry by the novel cronavirus after the United States. According to the health ministry on Saturday, India has witnessed the highest- single-day spike in coronavirus cases with over 2.34 lakh fresh cases and more than 1,300 deaths in the last 24 hours.
As many as 63,729 fresh coroanavirus cases and 398 deaths were reported in Maharashtra in the last 24 hours, taking the total active cases in the state to 6,38,034, the state health department reported on Friday.
According health ministry data, Delhi on Friday witnessed the biggest single-day jump of 19,486 fresh COVID-19 cases and 141 deaths due to the Covid-19.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday ordered a weekend curfew in the city to control the covid situation. Keriwal said, during the curfew gym, spas and auditorium will remain closed. Only essential services like medical, grocery store will be operational
Kejriwal said those people who have their wedding and fixed the dates, can apply for e-pass, after getting the approval they can organize their wedding with 50 people with full focus on covid norms.
