Bhopal: In a start realisation of how fast the COVID 19 virus is spreading across the country and in Madhya Pradesh in particular, the state’s Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan today (July 25) announced that he has tested positive for the virus. The 61-year-old said that the confirmation came this afternoon.

In his tweet, Chouhan said: “My dear countrymen, I was having COVID-19 symptoms and, after a test, my report came back positive. I am following all the guidelines and will quarantine myself according to the doctor’s advice.”

He has also requested all colleagues and all those who have come in contact with him recently to get tested and take all precautions.
