The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) today (Saturday, March 23) announced the names of candidates for Lok Sabha seats in Bihar, in which Shatrughan Sinha has been replaced by Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad.

BJP national general secretary Bhupendra Yadav announced the names of NDA candidates from Bihar.

Ram Vilas Paswan is not contesting Lok Sabha polls but his son Chirag Paswan is contesting from Jamui. LJP leader Chandan Kumar will be contesting from Nawada. Nawada MP, Giriraj Singh is contesting from Begusarai.

Ram Kripal Yadav is contesting from Patliputra, RK Singh from Arrah, Aswani Choubey from Buxar, Radha Mohan Singh from East Champaran, Rajiv Pratap Rudy from Saran.

NDA list does not carry the name of candidate from Khagaria as LJP has not decided any candidate for the seat yet.

NDA comprises of three alliance partners and as per the seat sharing agreement BJP and JD (U) are contesting on 17 seats each while LJP is contesting on rest six seats.
