The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test is set to be conducted today on September 12. However, amidst the scheduled exam, rumours are doing rounds on the internet in which it is said that the question paper of NEET 2021 has been leaked, and that is leading to anxiety among the students. Notably, there are no reports of the question paper being leaked, these are just rumours and the examination will take place today at various centres. It is advisable that the students should stay focused on the examination and they should give their best.
What is #OperationNEET?
The hashtag that is garnering much attention on the internet is about a sting operation that was conducted by a media channel. The channel aired a 2-hour report in which they uncovered the cheating mafia and how they operate in Rajasthan. In the report, it was shown that the people who conduct this activity charge lakhs of money from the students and others for providing the question paper and also claiming that they will provide medical seats in the medical or government colleges.
In the report, it was mentioned that for providing the SC-ST seat they charge around Rs 25-30 lakh and 60-70 lakh is charged for giving the general category seat. It was mentioned that the investigation took place in November.
Is NEET 2021 question paper leaked?
The question paper of NEET 2021 has not been leaked, it is just the false rumours that are being widely circulated on the internet. In the #OperationNEET2021 report, the media channel said that the people who were seen in the video were arrested by the police and no such activity of leaking the examination paper took place.
