Snapchat down: thousands of users unable to post or, send messages

Snapchat app is down for many users across the world and users have taken Twitter to complain about the issue. Few days before Facebook along with WhatsApp and Instagram suffered its worst global outage ever, all three apps going offline for nearly six hours straight.

Website and app monitor Down Detector registered tens of thousands of reports from Snapchat users on Wednesday. As per Down Detector, the issues affecting users the most are problems with the Snapchat app itself, posting content and server connection. However, Snapchat confirmed via their official twitter account that the company is aware of some users are facing problems while using the app, and told people to ‘hang tight, we are looking into it.’

Many users took Twitter to complain about the issue and shared some hilarious memes.

However, the reason is still unknown for the major outage, but the tweeples are hoping the app will be back up soon, giving people plenty of time to keep up their streaks today. Otherwise Snapchat better step in and do something to protect the streaks lost thanks to this outage.
