APN News Desh Ki Baat : Validity of the old currency increased
The government has extended the validity of Rs 500 and 1000 old notes till 15th December. From now, Old currency is acceptable in Government hospitals, Petrol pumps, metro stations, and all National highways are made toll-free until the 2nd December. This is a big relief from the government side but now commoners will not be able to exchange their old notes of Rs. 500 & 1000 from banks, They can only deposit them in the banks and post offices. Former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh questioned PM Modi's move. Starting from the economy to a common man, every single point was covered in his questions. He also said that this decision will reduce the GDP by 2%.
