Sushant Singh Rajput’s talent manager Uday Gingh Gauri has revealed that the last film offered to the late actor was based on 26/11 attacks, Ajmal Kasab and ISI. According to a report, Gauri had made a conference call to Rajput a day before his death to discuss about the film. Rajput had also spoken to filmmakers Ramesh Taurani and Nikhil Advani over the call for approximately seven minutes. Rajput’s call records show that he had received several calls from Gauri on June 13, a day before he committed suicide.
Gauri’s statement has been submitted to the Mumbai police, Central Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement Directorate, the report further added. Gauri said that another conference call was planned on June 15 with the actor as filmmakers wanted to have further discussions about the project with the Kai Po Che actor. He said Advani had narrated the plan of the film to Rajput earlier.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his Bandra department on June 14. The Mumbai police claimed it was a case of suicide. However, the probe was transferred to CBI after emergence of various conspiracy theories following an order by the Supreme Court.
Earlier, the AIIMS medical panel had ruled out foul play in the actor’s death and said it was a case of suicide, not murder. The matter is still under investigation with CBI looking into suicide to abetment angle, NCD into drug consumption angle and ED into financial angle.
Rhea Chakraborty was arrested in connection with the case. It was said that she had been supplying drugs to him. Chakraborty is currently out on bail while her brother Showik is still in jail after he was denied bail by the Bombay High Court. He has now moved Supreme Court seeking bail.
