TN CM rejects Centre’s 3-language policy: ‘It’s Hindi-imposition again’

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami made it clear today that there was no way he would allow the proposed three-language policy, as outlined in the Centre’s New Education Policy (NEP), to be implemented in the state.

RECORD RISE IN CASES, 17,296 CASES IN LAST 24 HOURS

The daily rise in fresh cases is being primarily driven by three states — Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu — accounting for 61% of the daily case growth. On June 11, the proportion of active cases in the total number of confirmed cases was 48%, which has gradually declined to 39.4% on June 25. Data shows the trend is visible in more than half the states, while the number of states with less than 50% active cases is increasing, pointing to what government experts say is a natural downturn.

TN CM rejects Centre’s 3-language policy: ‘It’s Hindi-imposition again’

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K Palaniswami made it clear today that there was no way he would allow the proposed three-language policy, as outlined in the Centre’s New Education Policy (NEP), to be implemented in the state.

RECORD RISE IN CASES, 17,296 CASES IN LAST 24 HOURS

The daily rise in fresh cases is being primarily driven by three states — Delhi, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu — accounting for 61% of the daily case growth. On June 11, the proportion of active cases in the total number of confirmed cases was 48%, which has gradually declined to 39.4% on June 25. Data shows the trend is visible in more than half the states, while the number of states with less than 50% active cases is increasing, pointing to what government experts say is a natural downturn.
