Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharam on the first budget of this decade and said ‘the budget has both a vision and action’.

“Government has announced many measures in the Budget to push employment in the country.

“The goal to develop 100 airports in the country is very important for the tourism sector of the country. In tourism, there is more possibility of employment and income generation with lesser investment,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
He said the main areas of employment are going to be agriculture, infrastructure, textiles and technology.
“The main areas of employment are agriculture, infrastructure, textiles and technology. In order to increase employment generation, these four have been given a lot of emphasis in this budget,” he added.
