Photo of random newborn goes viral! Uncle Vikas Kohli says it’s not my niece

Indian skipper Virat Kohli and his wife actor Anushka Sharma became parents of a baby girl on Monday. Within hours of the news, the picture of the newborn went viral on social media after it was shared by Kohli’s elder brother Vikas Kohli. However, Vikas has now clarified that he used a random picture from the internet to welcome the baby girl and it was not actual picture of Virushka’s daughter.

Vikas took to Instagram to issue the clarification and said the picture he posted to wish Kohli and Anushka was a random one. He said it was not the actual picture of the baby as being claimed by the media. As soon as Vikas shared the picture, his comments section got flooded with congratulatory messages and picture went viral on social media.

Anushka Sharma delivered a healthy baby girl at a hospital in Mumbai on Monday afternoon. Indian captain took to social media to share the happy news of baby’s arrival. He wrote that couple was thrilled to share that they were blessed with a baby girl on Monday afternoon thanking the fans for their prayers, love and good wishes. He informed that both Sharma and the baby were doing well. He also requested media to give them privacy during this period.

Their dreamy wedding was an hush-hush affair with media not getting a whiff about it. The couple announced that they were expecting their first child in August 2020. Kohli is currently on paternity leave with India playing a Test series in Australia. He returned home after the first Test to be with his wife and family during the special time.
