What Sahid SK, An Experienced Digital Creator Thinks Is The Future Of Digital Content

The pandemic has gotten all of us consuming a lot more content digitally and increased our screen times multifold. Now although it has its own negatives, digital content has become the most effective way of communicating with an audience or a community that you are trying to build. As a result, the content generated through digital media proves to become an outlet for many as it hasn’t just given the common man a stage to express his creativity and opinions but also allowed brands, organizations and many such entities a medium through which they can directly connect with their audience.

Sahid SK, an experience digital creator who has been closely associated with Marketing Mind, an online platform pertaining to all things advertising and marketing, believes that digital is here to stay and is most certainly the most important medium which will go forward. We are witnessing an incredibly important time, at the onset of the pandemic which witnessed the entire world go digital. We’re living in a time where Google receives more than 3.5 billion search queries in just a single day.

Advertising has taken up a new role owing to digital marketing. When one had no clue that movie marketing would ever not involve film stars making their way through a teeming crowd in a college fest, it took on a new definition in the form of OTT platforms, Influencer Marketing and most importantly, the purpose of engaging an audience and not just selling them the movie.

Sahid believes that the future of digital media will evolve as new tools are devised and consumers make new demands. The quality along with the accessibility of disruptive technologies will ensure a more holistic process in terms of advertising and marketing. Augmented reality and Artificial Intelligence will allow us to witness the biggest of technological advances in the near future. With futuristic technologies like Neuralink, digital content based on human health will definitely boom. It’s safe to say that at the crux of digital content, technology will ensure path breaking strides in the future of digital content.

He also supports the argument that soon enough, a huge number of people will eventually stop watching television and movies in theatres and resort solely to OTT platforms. While many argue that more than just the movie that is being released, it is the theatrical experience that encapsulates all, from his perspective, it’s not having to spend as much on watching a movie and making it a personalized experience with own opinions as opposed to being in a social setting and reacting in a certain way, which will prove to be more important to the consumers of digital content in the future.

In his experience, Sahid has most certainly been a true advocate of digital content as he has been working as a content creator for the past 5 years and has experienced the boom himself.
