WhatsApp may launch chat transfer from iOS to Android feature, here is how it will work

WhatsApp is testing one of its latest features through which the users easily can transfer their chat history from iOS to Android or Android to the iOS device without any hassle. Currently, the messaging platform has a feature that can only transfer chat history from the same operating system.

WhatsApp features tracker Wabetainfo has confirmed the news by sharing some screenshots of the feature on its official Twitter handle while testing the feature. The screenshots reveal that users will soon get a new Move chat to options on Android and iOS through which users will be able to transfer their chat history.

According to the first image, the iPhone users will have to scan the QR code to open WhatsApp and then tap on the start button to transfer chats, during the process, the user has to keep his iPhone unlocked and WhatsApp open when the chat transfer process will going on.

WhatsApp official has not revealed anything about the feature yet, but there are reports that it will soon make an official announcement about the same.

Wabetainfo said, WhatsApp will soon going to launch an update about the messaging application platform and it will ask its users to update their WhatsApp to the latest version in order to use transfer option features.

The features tracker had also said that once the latest feature will roll out, it would be highly beneficial for the upcoming multi-device support.

This is not the only feature WhatsApp is working on right now, the messaging platform will soon allow its users to use WhatsApp single accounts on multiple devices at the same time. Reports said this feature will take a bit of time to roll out officially because it will totally change your experience on WhatsApp.
