American teenage sensation Billie Eilish won big at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards today as she swept all the five major categories including record of the year, album of the year, song of the year, best new artist and best pop vocal album. Billie created history tonight as she became the youngest artist to win the top four prizes.

Eilish who worked on her album “When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?” with her producing partner and brother Finneas O’Connell, also won for producer of the year and best engineered album (non-classical).

R&B popstar Lizzo, who was nominated for eight awards, took home three prizes in Sunday. nominated for eight awards, the most of any other nominee. Lizzo was nominated for eight awards, the most of any other nominee.

The viral rap sensation, Lil Nas X, stormed the stage and performed what was called “Old Town Road All-Stars,” featuring Billy Ray Cyrus, BTS, Diplo, Mason Ramsey and a surprise appearance by rapper Nas.

Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Lizzo, Camilla Cabello also performed their most loved songs on the stage.

Performers paid tribute to Kobe Bryant and his daughter, who passed away in a helicopter crash earlier in the day. The awards ceremony took place at Los Angeles’s Staples Center where Bryant played for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Lizzo, Alicia Keys, DJ Khalid, Lil Nas X, Aerosmith and RUN-D.M.C. each paid tribute to the iconic basketball player either through words or by flashing his jersey to the crowd.

Icons like Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and Michelle Obama also received trophies.

Beyonce won the best music film for her critically-acclaimed Netflix movie, Homecoming, which charted her iconic headline performance at Coachella earlier this week.

Former First Lady Michelle Obama also won her first Grammy after winning the Best Spoken Word album award for Becoming, which has become one of the best-selling memoirs in history.

Actress and songwriter, Lady Gaga, won Best Song Written for Visual Media for “I’ll Never Love Again (Film Version).” The Star Is Born song beat out tracks by Thom Yorke, Beyoncé, Randy Newman, and Dolly Parton.
