Cristiano Ronaldo becomes first player to score 800th goal in Manchester United’s fightback victory against Arsenal, here’s list of players with most goals

Cristiano Ronaldo on December 3 scored his 800th career goal against Premier League rivals Arsenal in a fightback victory. Ronaldo became the only player to score 800 goals in football history.

However, even after this much-needed win against Arsenal, United is still 7th on the Premier League points table, while their arch-rivals Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool are bossing the top ranks on the points table with first, second and third, respectively.

In their 14th match of the Premier League, Manchester United was in charge of their caretaker manager Michael Carrick after the club sacked Ole Gunner Solskjaer over his recent failure to win matches in the league. This match was also the last match of caretaker manager Michael Carrick, as the club has already appointed Ralf Rangnick on an interim basis.

United was losing since the 13th minute of the match when Emile Smith Rowe opened the account for Arsenal with a controversial goal, Roe scored the goal when United goalkeeper David de Gea was down with a minor injury then Rowe put the ball in the net. Though, Man United manage to equalise through ace mid-fielder Bruno Fernandes’ wonderful goal in the 44th minute right before halftime.

Ronaldo again scored from the spot in the 72nd minute to seal the victory for Manchester United.
