Bollywood actors Diljit Dosanjh and Kangana Ranaut once again engaged in a war of words on Wednesday. It started with Diljit releasing a song praising Rihanna, a international pop star who recently shared a post in support of farmers protesting against the three farms laws at the Delhi’s border.
Diljit has released a 2-minute long song titled RiRi, a reference to the singer’s nickname, which has lyrics by Raj Ranjodh and music by Intense. Reacting to it, Kangana tweeted in Hindi saying that he wants to earn a few bucks too, how long have you been planning this? It takes at least a month to prepare for the video and announcement. And this libru wants us to believe it’s all organic, wrote the actor on her post.
Replying to Kangana’s tweet, Diljit said, 2 Rupees! that’s your job, don’t teach me my job, I can make a song in half an hour. He went on to say that he doesn’t feel like making one for Kangana, though it would take two minutes and questioned why she has to butt everywhere. Don’t bore me, go and do your work, said the actor.
Kangana didn’t stop there, she further attacked the actor, saying that her job is only to be a patriot which she will continue doing and will not allow any khalistani like him do their jobs. Questioning her authority, Diljit said she does not make any sense and asked her not to act like a god. I won’t let you do this, who are you yaar? Nobody is even talking about you, replied the actor.
Kangana continued attacking Diljit, saying he and his Canada gang are capable of anything. Diljit promptly reminded her that he was as much a citizen of India as her. Later, Kangana asked Diljit to prove his patriotism, to which he replied, we are with India. The government would take care of anybody who says something wrong as that is their job not yours or mine.
After a long exchange, Diljit finally said that he will stop replying to her tweets because she might enjoy playing the tweet game but people like him have 100 things to do. The actor signed off by saying that she does not make any sense anyway, talking to her is like banging her head against a wall.
Meanwhile, Rihanna’s tweet on ongoing farmers’ protest has received massive support and is widely shared on Twitter. Because of her tweet, the issue highlighted on the global platform with the international pop star tweeting about it to her 100 million followers.
