The epicenter of the quake was in Rohtak, a district in Haryana
New Delhi: A moderate intensity earthquake measuring 5.0 on Richter Scale hit Delhi, it’s adjoining suburbs, Haryana and other parts of northern India on Friday morning.
According to India Meteorological Department reports, the epicentre of the quake was in Rohtak, a district in Haryana.
The depth of the quake was 22 km and it occurred at 4:25 AM, the Met said.
Reportedly, there was no immediate loss of life and property.
